How the 30-Year Lease Works

Your agreement with VoltWatt is formalized through a bail emphytéotique (emphyteutic lease)—a 30-year commercial lease recognized in French law. VoltWatt gains the right to install, operate, and maintain the solar system, while you retain ownership of the building and receive guaranteed annual rent.
